Four Ways Than One has many motifs (recurring rythms and melodies) that are shared between the players. All 4 drums play an integral role in the overall melody.

Distant March is a groove-based march with interlocking patterns. It also features ostinatos on the tom toms while your lead player on the snare has a chance to show of his/her leadership skills in the limelight.

One Through Eight is scored for 4 tom toms, but you can replace the highest tom tom with a snare drum with the snares off if you need to. This piece has a very relaxed feel, with each part playing a minimalist role in the melody, with everyone keeping time on their rims. Later on in the tune, players leave their rims alone, but the interplay between all parts continues in much the same vain.

Finally, Six Stix is a piece for 3 drummers on tom toms. There is much frenetic interplay between the drummers, as well as stick-hitting-together, rim knocking, and even shouting!
