A Personal Message From Zac Courtney

Hey There & Welcome to ZC Percussion.

My Name is Zac Courtney, and you've clicked the "About Zac" page - so I Guess you want to know who I am, and why you should invest in the educational music you find on this page....

I've done University study and I have compeleted my Bachelors Degree specializing in Jazz. I've also done heaps of playing in Jazz Bands, along with many different styles of music over the years.

I've done heaps of teaching and conducting Percussion groups. My love of composition meant that almost everything I used I wrote myself, and that's why I decided to create this website.

My philosophy on educational music is:

• The activity of being in the ensemble should be as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.

• Students need to always feel excited about their music, from the instant that they start playing a new piece, right up until they perform it, and beyond

• Students should be exposed to a large variety of styles of music, and not just keep to what they know.

If any of you have been to ktpercussion.com you'll no doubt notice that I've used a very similar format to my website. I think it's great that you can see what it is that is offered and decide if it meets your needs.

I'm a great friend of Kevin & The guys at the Fun Music Company, and that's why they've helped me put together this webpage. They look after all the customer service and delivery of my music for you. They are really professional and will look after everything you need. Its great for me, because I can continue to teach, do my gigs and write great music, while they look after you guys and make sure the website works properly.
